Its ‘style’ reflects its wide denominational roots and its Cypriot base. We hope all those attending on Sunday will be both relaxed and able to worship God in a way that is pleasing to Him. It is our desire to welcome resident and holidaymaker alike into our worshipping community. Shorts and T-shirts are not unusual attire in this hot summer resort town.

House Groups – these are a basic element of church just as family is to society.
We have several groups who meet at different times on a Tuesday.
'Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.' - Acts 17:11 (NIV)
We do the same.
Isaiah 58 – our work with HIV / Aids sufferers and their families.
There are currently approximately 270 patients attending the Gregorios clinic in Larnaca , some of whom are HIV carriers, some with AIDS, some will develop AIDS. Many of these patients are well enough to work, to enjoy family life and to spend time with friends.
Many of them, however, know ‘the chains of injustice’ and ‘the cords of the yoke’. Many of their children are denied a carefree childhood because of ignorance and fear in our communities. Your contributions of food and Euros have helped enormously – they not only provide food for the body, but begin to ‘untie the cords of the yoke’. For many of the patients the contributions help them see Jesus’ love.
People who have been shunned, or who live in fear of being shunned, desperately need to know that they are loved by Jesus and because of Him, by us.
We believe that the Lord has raised up workers across Cyprus with a heart for this ministry in preparation for 2009. We look forward with great expectation to this coming year as a time when the Lord will expand the work into ‘new’ areas, one of which seems to be the area of education – first our brothers and sisters in the fellowships in Cyprus because not all of us have had experience or revelation in this area.
Praise God that nothing is impossible for Him! He loves to change hearts. For more information or to give a donation please contact Beverley Walker.
Filipino Project – ‘Education for Life’
This scheme pays for the university/college education of 10 children in the Philippines whose mothers are part of the 'PCFI family’. Please pray for the students who are all studying hard and several are in the middle of exams. Courses continue to 2010/2012 so plenty of work still to be done! The scheme relies on your donations. For more information please speak to Peter and Wendy or e-mail pra.32@cytanet.com.cy
