Why small groups?
Small groups have increasingly formed the back bone of growing churches throughout the world. They may be 'Cells' that operate effectively as small churches and come together to form a larger 'Celebration' meeting, or they can be one larger church that is 'broken down' into Groups to form the basis of Pastoral Care. Ours is of the latter kind with House Groups being the 'care blocks' of the church.
Other small groups form the basis of Ministry within the church- worship group, 'craft for care' group which makes (amongst other things) parchment crafted items for sale, Children's groups..... and more!
God created a world with great variety- such small groups continue this example, forming small 'ecological units' which strengthen the whole through a greater diversity.
